Gamma Sigma
Type Service sorority (recognized as a Club)

Gamma Sigma was a local service sorority at RIT during the 1970s. It petitioned for but did not receive a charter as a chapter of the national sorority Gamma Sigma Sigma.

Prior to Alpha Phi Omega becoming co-ed, Gamma Sigma offered a similar service program to APO and the sisters of Gamma Sigma actively collaborated with the APO brothers to organize service activities.

A number of Gamma Sigma sisters lived on the floor of Frances Baker Hall dubbed the "APO House".
