The Department of Public Safety (previously Campus Safety, and nicknamed Campo) is the RIT department responsible with enforcing RIT policies and cooperating with law enforcement to investigate criminal activity on the RIT campus. The department operates a large office in Grace Watson Hall, part of which is open during business hours, with a second "after hours" window for assistance outside of RIT business hours. Public safety offers escort services, operates the university's lost and found system, provides vehicle registration, medical/handicap parking permits, and occasionally organizes events related to safety and legal issues.[1]
