Ingle Memorial Auditorium is located in the Student Alumni Union. It is commonly used for concerts, other performances, and weekly movie showings.

About

The auditorium was designed as a cultural center for plays and musical events at RIT. It previously served as the campus chapel until the construction of the Schmitt Interfaith Center in 1985.[1] The auditorum has 505 seats.[2]

History

Ingle was dedicated on May 17, 1969. The auditorium was constructed in the bequest of Arthur H. Ingle, a trustee. The auditorium was named in memory of his mother, Albenia Elizabeth Ingle, and his wife, Maude Dennie Ingle.[1]
